You’ll be guided around the huge concert hall as it prepares for its next performance. You’ll learn some of the history behind the stunning Grade 1 listed building and get to see what goes on behind the scenes.
The Afternoon Tea
You’ll enjoy your afternoon tea for two in the Albert Hall’s Verdi Restaurant. With over 100 years of experience hosting tea parties, the Albert Hall knows how to do it right. You’ll have a choice of 11 East India Company Tea’s, a selection of homemade sandwiches, scones, cakes, clotted cream, jams and deserts. You’ll enjoy your tea while looking out over the Royal College of Music; if you’re lucky you may even get to witness a rehearsal!
What to do on the day
- When you arrive at the Albert Hall make your way to the box office through door 12, there you will exchange your vouchers for tickets and be shown to the grand tour meeting point.
- You’ll then be guided around the stunning grade 1 listed building and shown areas that visitors rarely see.
- After the tour, you will be shown to your seats at the Verdi restaurant and presented with a range of teas and treats to enjoy.
- The whole experience should last two and a half hours.
